It allows you to feel comfortable asking any number of questions and develops the trust necessary to allow the doctor to operate on your eyes. For patients who may still feel very nervous the day of the procedure we offer a Valium to help them relax. And, for the few patients who still require "more" assistance to relax before the surgery, we offer a meeting with one of our highly trained counselors, who will guide them to a state of comforting relaxation
