CustomVue™ guided Laser Vision Correction

CustomVue™ is NOT a procedure in itself. Having CustomVue™ incorporated into your prescribed laser vision technique is another step in the measurement process, before your procedure, to ensure the most accurate correction of your vision. The technology is FDA approved for a specific range of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. The wave scan analyzes the entire optical system of your eye. This allows your doctor to measure imperfections in your eye 25 times more precisely than standard methods such as glasses and contact lenses. It produces a detailed map of your eye – as unique as your fingerprint. This generates digital information that is transferred directly to the VISX S4 laser used in your procedure, to provide a customized treatment with greater precision and accuracy.
